At Guardian Ambulance, we specialize in the highest level of comfort and patient safety. We staff our ambulances with highly trained, licensed EMTs and paramedics who are dedicated to providing expert pre-hospital patient care. Our services range from basic life support to advanced life support transports, as well as bariatric care services. Our headquarters is located in Florence, South Carolina, where we house our fleet of 30 ambulances. We also operate stations in Columbia and Clarendon and serve the community of Dillon. We provide 911 emergency response backup to Sumter County.




COMPANY HISTORY

  • 2019
    Guardian Ambulance established in South Carolina to serve the PeeDee and Midlands regions.
  • 2019
    Guardian Ambulance awarded contract to serve McLeod Health System at its main campus in Florence, as well as Dillon and Clarendon.
  • 2021
    Guardian Ambulance and its sister company, Medshore Ambulance, awarded the Prisma Health contract for its Midlands facilities.
  • 2022
    Guardian Ambulance began provided 911 ambulance response support to Sumter County.
  • TODAY
    Guardian Ambulance has more than 80 EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers & support staff serving more than 20,000 patients each year with 30 ambulances and emergency vehicles.

Guardian Ambulance serves the non-emergency medical transportation needs of customers and patients in central and eastern South Carolina, specifically the communities of Florence, Columbia, Dillon and Clarendon.
