Congratulations to these Medshore Guardian EMT apprentices! These students are the very first EMT apprentices in the Florence-Darlington Technical College service area, and their tuition was supported by a U.S. Department of Labor grant awarded to the FDTC Corporate and Workforce Development division by Apprenticeship Carolina, a division of the South Carolina Technical College.

These apprentices will begin work immediately with Guardian, and we can proudly boast that the group achieved a 91% passage rate on the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Psychomotor Examination. These students are scheduled to take the NREMT Cognitive Examination in the coming weeks and once successful, will be awarded the NREMT EMT Certification.
