Guardian Ambulance to host job fairs to hire for contracts in Florence and Sumter

Guardian Ambulance is hosting two job fairs in the next two weeks to hire EMTs and paramedics to support existing contracts and expansions in 2021 in the Pee Dee and Midlands regions.

“Guardian Ambulance is excited to be expanding and we now serve the largest health systems in both the Pee Dee and Midlands regions,” said Guardian Ambulance Vice President of Operations Jason Cooke. “To support this growth and our future expansions, we need to grow our team and are seeking high-quality EMS professionals to join our family.”

The job fairs will be held at the following dates and locations:

  • Friday, April 2, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
    Hyatt Place Sumter/Downtown, 18 North Main Street, Sumter, SC 29150
  • Saturday, April 3, 8 a.m. -5 p.m.
    Hyatt Place Florence/Downtown, 100 E. Evans Street, Florence, SC 29506

Guardian Ambulance is hiring for multiple EMT and paramedic positions. Since 2016, Guardian Ambulance has been the preferred provider of McLeod Health in Florence and Dillon in the Pee Dee region. Additionally, in 2021, Guardian Ambulance and sister company, Medshore Ambulance began serving the Midlands region hospitals of Prisma Health, including Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter.
